Dry Land, the newest album put out in 2009 by Icelandic band, Bloodgroup, is going to get you moving. The album breaks barriers with its choice of instruments and breaks for each song and it will definitely make you pay attention to what they're doing. And it rocks. Bloodgroup is right up there with fellow Icelanders FM Belfast, another group known for its accessible approach to making music. Both the groups prove that Iceland lives up to its unique rep in all aspects, especially live electronic performances by its amazing musical inhabitants. Something is definitely brewing over there and it reaches out in a way that is unparalleled by any other electronic music scene I've experienced..
