Move (Drumstep Mix) / Figure and Will Bailey
Dumstep: you've probably started listening to it without even realizing what it was. It's a new* sub-genre of dubstep combining drum and bass beats with a distinct half tempo emphasis while maintaing all of the characteristic, bass goodness of dubstep. "Move (Drumstep Mix)" is one of my favorite examples yet. Great mix featuring vocal samples from Slim Thug's "I Ain't Heard of That". Will Bailey (pictured) is a DJ/Producer from Birmingham, UK. Figure is Josh Gard, bass music producer from the Midwest.

Figure and Will Bailey - Move (Drumstep Mix) by Figure
*Dubstep is already a DnB influenced genre. The difference is the 'amount' of genuine, fast DnB breakbeats that are being used in the track. Most dubstep artists have included beats that would be considered drumstep in their tracks for awhile..

Rolling In The Deep (Voodoo Farm Remix) / Adele vs. Jay-Z vs. Biggie
Eureka! This afternoon was spent scouring around the internet searching, as always, for something to wow my ears and my imagination and share with you all. This track is DOPE. I love finding a song to get this excited about! The flow, the production, and the creativity of this track are all top-notch. Amazing remix of Adele's "Rolling Deep" featuring classic, additional vocal appearances from Jay-Z and Biggie.
Adele - Grammy Award-Winning English soul, jazz, singer-songwriter from Enfield, North London.
Jay-Z - American rapper and former president and CEO of Roc A Fella Records.
The Notorious B.I.G. - late Brooklyn-born rapper of the mid-1990s.
Voodoo Farm - musical project of 25 year old NYC-based producer/DJ/filmmaker Liam Dirlam.

Under The Sheets (Jakwob Remix) / Ellie Goulding
Another amazing remix from the master from a few months back. Captivating harmonies abound as Goulding's vocals whirl around the unloading of Jakwob's arsenal in a remix that manages to simultaneously be hard hitting and musically sensitive.

Chrome's On It (Mad Decent Remix) / Telepathe
Always loved this remix and I am a pretty big fan of a lot of Mad Decent’s related work as well as the female duo, Telepathe. This remix will get your head spinning alright.

The Love That I Crave (Strategy's Strata Club Remix) / The Blow
An oldie but a goodie. Not that big of a fan of The Blow and it has a lot to do with the vocals, but the way they were altered with a vocoder effect in this remix was executed well enough for me to really enjoy them and all their bounciness. Props to Strategy (producer Paul Dickow). Plus the bass synth and its additional lines at the end of each verse are super catchy and gets right into it.

Son Of A Gun (Yuksek Remix) / Oh Land
This has been one of my favorite house tracks since the beginning of Fall. It's all about the vocals in this one (and the awesome intro); the effects are great and the lyrical timing is really cool. Take a listen here. Oh Land is Danish singer Nanna Fabricius. I look forward to hearing more from her.
You'll Find A Way (Switch and Sinden Remix) / Santigold
I found out about this track when my suitemate played it a lot at the beginning of this past term. Super catchy stuff by Switch and Sinden. Took a pretty decent track and turned into something ridiculously sexy.

Hold Dat (Club Mix) / Prince Po
Found this on the Futurism Ain't Shit To Me 2 comp and am really loving it. It's definitely one of those tunes that once you hear it, you'll be replaying it on your iPod and boppin' around to it all day. Prince Po's timing is great and he's never off. Jemini's and Rell's appearances fits perfectly. Gotta check this out. I believe the mix is by Richard X, but everywhere I go, this track is labeled differently. Will confirm eventually.
The video demo is so great. haha

Afro Nuts (DCUP mix) / Yolanda Be Cool
Check out DCUP's mix of "Afro Nuts"by Australia's Yolanda Be Cool (better known for their more recent hit "We No Speak Americano"). It's a fun, upbeat house track consisting of a great blend of retro synth sounds, whistles, awesome vocals, and more, equalling a great song to dance to.
