Head First / Goldfrapp

Head First is the newest album from Goldfrapp, the electronic duo of Will Gregory and Alison Goldfrapp, released last week. Goldfrapp continues to ride the wave of 80s inspiration after their folky interlude with Seventh Tree, a welcomed follow up that will be appreciated by devout fans and lovers of Little Boots, Ladyhawke, and the like (check, check, check, check!)

D.A.N.C.E. (Jackson Remix Do The J.A.H.C.B.) / Justice

There is a lot of glitch out there, but few artists are quite as meticulous with their meshing and mashing of sounds at thumping dance tempos as Jackson and His Computer Band. The J.A.H.C.B. mix of "D.A.N.C.E", by fellow French artist Justice, takes the bare bones of the original and morphs it into a completely new, complex of masterfully engineered sounds. Another gem of the Warp family.
